Contact Us
Reach out by phone or email to schedule a free consultation. We'll discuss your child's age, experience level, and musical goals.
During our call, we'll answer your questions about lessons, discuss scheduling options, and help determine the best lesson format for your child.
Schedule a trial lesson where your child can meet me, explore the piano, and experience a sample lesson. No commitment required.
Can we try a lesson before enrolling?
Yes! I offer a free trial lesson for all new students. This gives your child a chance to meet me, explore the piano, and experience a sample lesson with no commitment required.
Does my child need a piano at home?
Yes, regular practice at home is essential for progress. Students need access to either an acoustic piano or a full 88-key digital keyboard with weighted keys. I can provide recommendations during our consultation.
What's the difference between Suzuki and traditional methods?
Suzuki emphasizes learning by ear and listening, similar to how we learn language. Traditional methods focus on music reading and theory from the beginning. I blend both approaches so students develop strong aural skills AND excellent sight reading abilities.
How much practice is expected?
Practice expectations vary by age and level. Generally, beginners practice 15-20 minutes daily, while intermediate students practice 30-45 minutes. Consistent daily practice is more effective than longer but infrequent sessions.
